The United Nations Association of Australia is delighted to invite you to attend the 2nd annual Switch to Green Expo and Conference!
Following the success of the inaugural event, Switch to Green 2009 will be held on 11th – 12th September at the National Convention Centre, Constitution Avenue, Canberra.
With the dedicated support of the ACT Government as Principal Supporter and our co-hosts, including the Canberra Business Council, The Conservation Council of the SE Region & Canberra, the Property Council of Australia, ANU Climate Change Institute, and SEE-Change, Switch to Green 09 will track and consider Canberra’s movement towards a green and sustainable future.
Bringing together key stakeholders from throughout Canberra and the ACT, the Conference will facilitate debate and discussions, and consider how Canberra can work together to create a Carbon Neutral Future. Whilst the 2 day Expo provides a great opportunity to meet the businesses and community groups who are already finding ‘green’ alternatives which can help us reduce our carbon footprint.
With the Switch to Green Business Awards, Community Awards and Art Prize, Switch to Green 09 supports and recognises the hard work of all members of the ACT community in their bid to create a more sustainable future.
